We are proud to breed F1 English Golden Doodles and F1 Bernedoodles. Our parents are all wonderful representations of their breed. They have had their health testing done and are exceptionally nice dogs with wonderful temperaments. Our goal is to raise healthy well socialized puppies that will be a member of your family, loved and well cared for throughout their lives. Our puppies are raised in our home with us and are a part of our family until they join their new families.
After a lot of research and careful consideration we made the decision to breed Golden Doodles. I bred American Golden Retrievers for many years and love their wonderful temperaments, loyalty and their strong desire to please. We feel that the Golden Retriever is one of the best all around breeds there is. One of the main issues that we were concerned with is the cancer rate, almost 72%, in American Golden Retrievers. Upon further research I found that the English Golden Retriever's cancer rate is roughly 39%. That is a dramatic difference for such a devastating disease. Our number one goal is to do our best to raise healthy puppies. Which led to our choosing the English Cream Golden to use in our breeding program. One of the reasons we decided to breed Golden Doodles is that they bring out the best of two wonderful breeds of dogs. The Standard Poodle and the Golden Retriever are both listed in the top 5 smartest breeds of dogs. The Poodle is a non shedding dog which is a wonderful trait that carries through in the Golden Doodle. The first generation cross or F1 puppies have Hybrid Vigor, and are generally healthier than either purebred line and grow better than either parent line. The cross between these two wonderful breeds are terrific family dogs, friendly, intelligent, affectionate and easy to train. The Hybrid Vigor decreases the further you get away from the first generation cross or F1 puppy. Our top priority is to raise healthy happy puppies so we have made the decision to just raise F1 puppies. Below is a link to a wonderful article about Golden Doodles.
